Consent-first data

Creator data is used only where consent has been given, and withdrawing consent actually stops the use.

Overview

Consent is a switch in our system, not a line in a policy. If a creator has not agreed to a particular use of their data, the platform will not serve it, and turning consent off stops the use going forward.

Consents are specific: which data, which purpose, which partner, for how long. We also honour browser signals such as Global Privacy Control on our own sites.

How we work

  • Consent is recorded per purpose, per partner, with a date.
  • Withdrawal takes effect in the system, not just on paper.
  • Data with no consent behind it is not used at all.
  • Creators can see what is held and who it reaches.
